Building Metacognition in Theatre Design/Tech Classrooms 

This workshop centered around techniques for building metacognitive feedback loops in theatre tech classrooms. This workshop introduces metacognition tools to faculty through check in, surveys, and reflections. Technical Theatre classes sometimes focus on skill building and meeting the needs of production that we miss out on helping our student think about how they are thinking and learning. This workshop seeks to address those gaps and build metacognitive feedback loops for students to feel empowered in their own education.   Presented at the American College Theater Festival 58 for Region 2
